So Now They Know
I am very close to my parents. I always have been. I work in the same town where they live so I even have lunch with them a few times a week. But until Saturday I had not told them about this blog.
Oh, they knew. She won’t own up to it but i think my sister Christine told them. But until a few days ago I think they just knew that there was some thing “on the Google” that I was doing and that it was sort of secret.
I told them for a couple of reasons. One of them being that they paid for my bachelors degree in English and I would like them to know that it is going to some use. Sort of. Kind of. Well, do with it what you will. But also because I feel like I have been holding out on them. As much as I see them, I am still always in a hurry and giving them little snippets and anecdotes about potties and the “Fuck It” twins without having time to have a real conversation about much.
I know, much of what I write about here IS about potties and the “Fuck It” twins, but I ASPIRE to greater things.
Shut up.
So on Saturday I just gave them a cursory look at this place and showed them one of my funnier posts. But today, at lunch, i will actually save this link to their PC, and show them how to peruse the archives.
Oy.
Yes, i did lie in bed last night trying to recall how many times I mentioned my sex life. But I am not going to go back and start editing.
I yam what I yam.
That’s what she said.

Tee hee - good luck with that. I told my parents about my blog right away. I was afraid I’d cut loose and say too much if I didn’t.
my mom knows about my blog, but my husband’s parents don’t. well, they do know i have a blog, they just don’t know how to find it.
just getting to your blog today! i love it, it’s in my daily rounds now!
Not me my dear - no one knows except my sister - not parents, not husband NO ONE. That way I can say whatever I want without worrying who is going to be pissed off. God Luck!
Wow! Your Mom looks like she has *killer* eyes.
Jill (not Bill)
Jill, she does, and so does my son. Check out the one on the right in my blog header. Ice blue daggers.
But in a good way.
I was actually going to say that I thought your son on the right had them! Also, I think *you* may have them, eh? I was looking at your wedding photos on your anniversary post. Lovely. :o)
